The Hightower 2.0 AL 29" frame kit by Santa Cruz is a master of versatility and adapts to your preferences. With 140 mm of travel at the rear, combined with a 65° head tube angle, it offers you plenty of room to manoeuvre and a wide comfort zone, but also has reserves when the you want to get hammering. The bike scores particularly well on long, demanding trails and where steep climbs are rewarded with real descents. The flip chip provides that certain something, allowing you to adjust the bottom bracket height higher (high) or lower (low) and thus adapt the geometry to your needs. In the high setting, the bottom bracket height is slightly higher for technical pedalling. In the lower position, the characteristic curve is slightly more progressive to provide additional bottom-out resistance and thus allow for more aggressive riding. Santa Cruz recommends that you try both settings, but start Hightower 2.0 in the lower position first.
